About 4AZRAIN.org – Verde Valley RIC

4AZRAIN.org is the digital hub for the Rural Activation and Innovation Network (RAIN)—a multi-year initiative funded by the National Science Foundation to strengthen STEM engagement in rural Arizona communities. The project is led by Arizona State University, Arizona Science Center, Arizona Tech Council, and COSI’s Lifelong Learning Group, and focuses on four key regions, including the Verde Valley of Yavapai County.

The Verde Valley RIC collaborates with educators, tribal leaders, and community stakeholders to:

• Expand access to STEM resources and learning opportunities

• Support local grant initiatives and innovation projects

• Share best practices through storytelling, networking, and service mapping

• Foster culturally responsive programming that reflects the region’s unique identity

The platform also features curated Education@Home resources, grant information, and a forum for collaboration among RAIN participants. It’s more than a website—it’s a space for community-driven innovation, equity in education, and intergenerational impact.
